1957 DDO-001 FS-101
PR 66

The ghost of cameos past! Very spectral contrast, like the president especially is transparent. The darkness of the lines in the torch is particularly intense against the frosty higher surfaces, so cool! An earlier die state example with less cameo contrast, a strike further away from the most recent chemical preparation of the die required periodically to refresh the black and white contrast in a strike!

Another Example
PR 68 CAM

So far, no attributed examples have been graded with cameo. However, after using the other next example in 66 (which is attributed) to identify this one in a 68 CAM holder, this is the first example of which I am aware!

1957 DDO-002
PR 68 CAM QA

My first coin from a stickering company! As far as I understand their qualifications, I wholeheartedly agree with QA that this coin is in the top 1% of 1957 CAM dimes. Even though the cameo viewing angle is sliiightly below standard for a deep cameo, I’ve certainly seen less than this in DCAM holders! This second 1957 doubled die obverse variety is one not yet attributed by grading services although, in my opinion, they are both doubled dies of a similar caliber!

A key date in full bands, but I suspect partially due to a lack of interest. Rare in full bands nonetheless! The variety is one not yet attributed by grading services. The obverse is most interesting also for its portrayal  of Roosevelt with a particularly aquiline profile.
